Phone app aims to cut stroke risk for diabetes patients
NCT ID NCT07120334
Summary
This study is testing whether a mobile app can help people who have recently had a stroke and also have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes improve their diet. Forty participants will use the app for 12 weeks to try to follow a Mediterranean-style diet, which may help lower the risk of another stroke. The main goals are to see if the app is easy to use and if it helps people eat better and improve health markers like blood sugar.
