Can a phone app get teens to brush better? new study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07276191

Summary

This study is testing a new mobile app designed to help teenagers in Portugal take better care of their teeth. Researchers want to see if using the app alongside a dental cleaning and advice session leads to less plaque, lower risk of cavities, and better brushing habits compared to standard advice alone. About 150 teens will be randomly assigned to either use the app or receive traditional educational materials over a three-month period.
