Phone app aims to keep hearts steady after surgery

NCT ID NCT07119528

Summary

This study is testing whether a mobile app can help people better manage their atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) after they receive a specific new type of heart procedure called FARAPULSE™ PFA. The app will remind patients to take their medications and provide education about managing risk factors. Researchers want to see if using the app leads to better long-term control of the heart rhythm and fewer complications compared to standard care.
