Phone app tested as new tool to fight back pain from home
NCT ID NCT06420596
Summary
This study tested whether adding a smartphone app to standard physiotherapy helps people with long-term low back pain. Sixty patients were split into two groups: one received standard physiotherapy, and the other received standard therapy plus the app, which provided exercises and a way to communicate with their therapist. Researchers wanted to see if the app helped reduce pain and disability more than standard care alone.
