New depression drug plus brain training aims for longer relief

Summary
This study tests a new drug called apimostinel, which may work quickly to lift depression with fewer side effects. About 150 adults with major depression will receive either the drug or a placebo, and some will also do a computer-based cognitive training exercise. The goal is to see if the drug works and if the training helps the effects last longer.
