New drug shows promise for rare salivary gland cancer

Summary
This study tests a new drug called APG-115, alone or with chemotherapy, in people with a specific type of salivary gland cancer that has a normal p53 gene. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors and to find the best dose with acceptable side effects. About 41 adults with advanced cancer that cannot be cured will take part.
