Summary
This study aims to learn more about the biomechanical properties of the aorta in 200 patients who need surgery for an ascending aortic aneurysm. Researchers will use MRI scans before surgery and test the removed aortic tissue in the lab. The goal is to better understand the aorta's behavior to improve when and how surgery is performed.
