NCT ID NCT07450014

First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether patients who are more anxious before surgery are more likely to have a sudden drop in heart rate or blood pressure (vasovagal event) during spinal anesthesia. Researchers will measure anxiety levels in 1500 adults and watch for these events. No treatment is given—the goal is simply to understand the link between anxiety and body reactions.
