Summary
This study looked at how blood pressure medications affect brain blood flow and thinking skills in older adults with high blood pressure. Researchers gave 27 participants either a drug or a placebo for 1-2 weeks and measured brain blood flow, nerve activity, and cognitive performance. The goal was to learn if monitoring brain blood flow could help manage blood pressure treatment better.
