Blood thinner safety during prostate surgery put to the test

Summary

This study looks at whether it is safe for men with an enlarged prostate to stay on their blood thinners while having laser surgery. About 389 men who take blood thinners will be randomly assigned to either continue or stop their medication during the procedure. The goal is to see if continuing blood thinners increases the risk of bleeding complications.
