First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether antibiotics or steroids work better for granulomatous lobular mastitis, a rare, chronic breast inflammation in women. About 72 women will receive either an 8-week course of antibiotics or tapering steroids, with follow-up for 6 months. The goal is to find a standard treatment that reduces symptoms and avoids surgery.
