Summary
This study tests whether giving antibiotics to obese first-time mothers during induced labor can lower their chance of needing a C-section. Obesity raises the risk of complications and C-sections, and a smaller earlier study suggested antibiotics might help. The trial will involve 787 women across multiple centers to see if this simple approach works.
