NCT ID NCT03850379

Summary

This study aimed to find out which of two common antibiotics, ciprofloxacin or levofloxacin, is more effective at preventing serious bloodstream infections in patients recovering from a stem cell transplant. It involved 308 adults with blood cancers who received a transplant. Researchers compared infection rates in the 60 days after transplant to see which medication provided better protection.
