Two-Drug antibiotic attack tested against deadly blood infections
NCT ID NCT07240077
Summary
This study aims to find out if adding a second antibiotic (levofloxacin) to standard treatment works better for serious bloodstream infections caused by Streptococcus bacteria. Researchers will compare the two-drug combination against standard single-antibiotic therapy in 165 hospitalized adults. The goal is to see which approach better controls the infection and prevents complications.
