Two drugs vs. one: battle against deadly blood infections
NCT ID NCT07240077
Summary
This study compares two antibiotic approaches for treating serious streptococcal blood infections. Researchers want to know if adding levofloxacin to standard beta-lactam antibiotics works better than using beta-lactams alone. The trial will involve 165 hospitalized adults with confirmed blood infections, measuring whether the combination reduces complications and clears the infection faster.
