First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests two experimental drugs, ANS014004 and PLB1004, given together to people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR mutation-positive NSCLC). The goal is to find a safe dose and see if the combination can shrink tumors or stop them from growing, especially after standard treatments stop working. About 253 adults with locally advanced or metastatic disease will take part across two phases.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
ANS014004 (MET inhibitor) and PLB1004 (EGFR inhibitor)
What this could lead to
If successful, this combination could offer a new treatment option for people with EGFR-mutated lung cancer whose tumors have stopped responding to standard therapy.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial (Phase 1b/2) with a small number of participants, so the safety and effectiveness are not yet proven. Side effects from the drug combination are possible, and the treatment may not work for everyone.
