New implant could boost ankle surgery recovery

Summary
This study compares two ways to repair a torn ankle ligament: standard surgery using stitches and anchors, or the same surgery plus a special implant (BioBrace) that may help the ligament heal stronger. About 40 adults needing this surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. Researchers will track pain, function, and recovery over time to see if the implant leads to better results.
