Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called angiotensin-(1-7) to see if it can improve cardiovascular health in people who have both obesity and high blood pressure. Researchers will measure nerve activity and artery function during a short infusion of the drug compared to a saltwater placebo. The study involves 52 adults aged 18-65 with a BMI between 30-45 and elevated blood pressure.
