First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested a new tool called the AngioSafe Peripheral CTO Crossing System in 79 people with blocked leg arteries (peripheral artery disease). The device helps doctors guide a thin wire through the blockage to restore blood flow. The main goal was to see if the device is safe and works well, with success measured by getting the wire through the blockage without causing serious problems.
