Summary
This study looked at how much waste and carbon dioxide different types of anesthesia produce during wrist fracture surgery. 30 adults having wrist surgery were assigned to receive general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, or both. Researchers collected and weighed the waste from each method to find out which is better for the environment.
