Putting insomnia to sleep: anesthesia therapy trial for those Who've tried everything
NCT ID NCT07255027
Summary
This study is testing whether a short-term anesthesia treatment can help reset sleep patterns in adults with severe, treatment-resistant insomnia. Researchers will use a drug called dexmedetomidine to induce sleep while monitoring brain waves to see if it mimics natural sleep. The goal is to see if this approach provides longer-lasting relief for people who haven't benefited from standard insomnia treatments.
