NCT ID NCT03812718

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether the type of breathing tube used during gallbladder surgery affects how much anesthesia medicine is needed. 160 adults having their gallbladder removed will be randomly assigned to get either a standard endotracheal tube or a ProSeal laryngeal mask airway. The main goal is to measure the total amount of propofol used in each group to see if one device requires less anesthesia.
