Doctors watch Kids' brains during surgery prep to make anesthesia safer
NCT ID NCT07245654
Summary
This study aims to better understand how well doctors can monitor the depth of anesthesia and pain levels in children when they are being put to sleep for surgery. Researchers will observe 100 pediatric patients (aged 1-19) using a special monitoring device during their routine anesthesia. The goal is to see if current monitoring is sufficient during this critical phase and if it relates to recovery issues like post-surgery confusion.
