Surgery safety study tests which muscle monitor works better for obese patients
NCT ID NCT07283354
Summary
This study aims to compare two different methods for monitoring muscle relaxation during weight-loss surgery in obese patients. Researchers will attach two small monitoring devices to patients' hands during surgery to see which method provides more accurate measurements of muscle function. The study will also track how quickly each device detects when muscle strength returns after surgery and note any breathing problems that occur.
