Do brain monitors work the same when patients are cooled?

NCT ID NCT07508579

Summary

This study aims to understand if cooling a patient's body during heart surgery changes how two different brain monitors work. Researchers will observe 60 adults having planned heart bypass surgery, comparing readings from two monitoring devices during normal and cooled phases of the operation. The goal is to gather knowledge about these tools to potentially improve anesthesia safety during complex surgeries.
