First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 children aged 3-12 who had inguinal hernia repair surgery. Researchers compared two types of anesthesia: one given through a vein (target-controlled infusion) and one inhaled (sevoflurane). They measured how stable the children's vital signs were during surgery and how quickly they recovered afterward. The goal was to find out which method is safer and leads to a smoother recovery.
