First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks back at medical records of 150 children aged 1-18 who had diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious diabetes complication. Researchers want to see if children with anemia take longer to recover from DKA and stay in the hospital longer than those without anemia. The goal is to understand if treating anemia could help speed up recovery.
