Summary
This study aims to understand if having anemia (low red blood cell count) can help predict how severe a patient's inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) will become and their risk of needing hospitalization. Researchers will follow 83 adult patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis at a hospital in Egypt. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors better monitor and manage IBD in the future.
