NCT ID NCT07250711
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing pelvic floor exercises (called anal lift exercises) and following a special diet right after anal fistula surgery can help reduce pain, bleeding, and discomfort. About 124 adults aged 18 to 55 who have had this surgery will be randomly assigned to either receive the exercise and diet plan or standard care. The goal is to see if these simple steps can speed up recovery and improve bowel function.
