New study pits two anal fistula surgeries against each other

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques for treating high anal fistula, a painful condition. About 66 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the IFOC or LIFT procedure. The main goal is to see which surgery leads to better healing and fewer recurrences over six months.
