First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques—IFOC and LIFT—for treating high anal fistula, a tunnel that forms between the anal canal and skin. About 66 adults with this condition will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see which surgery leads to better healing and fewer recurrences over six months.
