Brain scan study seeks clues to memory loss in aging

Summary
This study uses yearly PET scans to track amyloid proteins in the brains of 400 adults aged 55 and older over 5 years. The goal is to see how these proteins relate to memory loss and other thinking problems as people age. Participants also complete memory tests and questionnaires about their daily life.
