First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a mind-body program called Amygdala and Insula Retraining (AIR) to see if it can reduce perimenopause symptoms like hot flashes, poor sleep, fatigue, and mood changes. About 160 women going through perimenopause will either take the program or be placed on a waitlist. The goal is to find a drug-free way to improve quality of life during this transition.
