Summary
This study tests whether a drug called evolocumab, given after a heart attack, can lower bad cholesterol more effectively than standard treatments. About 2,166 adults who had a heart attack and needed a stent procedure will take part. The goal is to see if evolocumab helps prevent death or unplanned hospital visits for heart problems over one year.
