First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests a new device that widens veins before creating a dialysis access point (fistula) in people with end-stage kidney disease. About 160 adults will either get the device plus standard fistula creation or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the device helps veins mature faster and work better for dialysis.
