Summary
This study tests whether a specially treated piece of human umbilical cord membrane can be placed in the thumb joint during surgery to reduce pain and improve movement. About 22 adults with thumb base osteoarthritis who have not improved with standard treatments will take part. Researchers will measure pain, grip strength, and thumb function for one year after the procedure.
