New 'Living Bandage' trial aims to seal stubborn wounds

NCT ID NCT07041177

Summary

This study is testing whether a skin graft made from amniotic tissue can help close chronic wounds that have been open for at least a month. About 10 participants with specific types of open wounds will receive weekly applications of the graft along with their standard care. Researchers will track how many wounds fully close, how long it takes, and if they stay closed after treatment.
