First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether amlodipine, a blood pressure medicine, can help people with stented heart arteries exercise longer and use less chest pain medication. About 211 stable angina patients with narrowed arteries took part. The goal was to see if amlodipine improves oxygen use during exercise and reduces daily chest pain spray use.
