Summary

This early-stage trial is testing the safety of a personalized cancer vaccine for people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who have recently received a stem cell transplant. The vaccine is made by fusing the patient's own immune cells with their leukemia cells, aiming to teach the immune system to recognize and attack any remaining cancer. Researchers are also testing if adding a low-dose chemotherapy drug (decitabine) makes the vaccine more effective at preventing the cancer from coming back.
