First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested two drugs, amivantamab and lazertinib, in 43 adults with a specific type of lung cancer (EGFR-mutant) that had spread to the brain and was getting worse despite previous treatments. The goal was to see if the combination could shrink or control brain tumors. Both drugs target cancer cells with the EGFR mutation to slow or stop growth.
