Summary

This study tested two targeted drugs, amivantamab and lazertinib, in 43 people with a specific type of lung cancer (EGFR-mutant) that had spread to the brain or spinal cord lining and was getting worse despite prior treatments. The goal was to see if the combination could shrink or control these brain metastases. The drugs work by blocking signals that help cancer cells grow.
