First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether checking amiodarone levels in the blood can help prevent atrial fibrillation (AF) episodes better than standard care. About 80 adults with paroxysmal AF will receive amiodarone, and half will have their drug levels monitored to guide dosing. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the number of AF recurrences over three months.
