NCT ID NCT07487714
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether checking the amount of amiodarone in the blood can help prevent repeat episodes of atrial fibrillation (AFib) better than standard care. About 80 adults with paroxysmal AFib will receive amiodarone, and half will have their drug levels monitored to guide dosing. The goal is to see if this approach reduces AFib recurrences and improves heart rate control.
