Summary
This study followed 516 elderly French people for up to 8 years to see how many develop age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of blindness. Researchers looked at genetic, clinical, and lifestyle factors that might increase risk. The goal is to better understand who is at high risk and how to prevent the disease.
