Cough medicine could slow lewy body dementia?

Summary
This study tests whether ambroxol, a common cough medicine, can slow down thinking and memory problems in people with early Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB). Researchers will give the drug to 180 adults aged 50-85 with mild symptoms and track changes in cognition, mood, and daily function over 18 months. The goal is to see if ambroxol can help control the disease, not cure it.
