Tracking the tipping point: how frailty accelerates decline in Alzheimer's patients
NCT ID NCT06570109
Summary
This study aims to understand how being frail affects the loss of daily living skills in older adults with Alzheimer's disease who live at home. Researchers will follow 130 participants for up to 5 years, checking in at the start, after one year, and tracking long-term outcomes like nursing home admission. The goal is to see if frailty predicts a faster decline in the ability to perform everyday tasks.
