Tracking the tipping point: can frailty predict faster decline in Alzheimer's?
NCT ID NCT06570109
Summary
This study aims to understand if being frail is linked to a faster loss of daily abilities in older adults living at home with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will follow 130 participants for up to 5 years, checking their function and frailty to see if it predicts needing more care or moving to a nursing home. The goal is to gather knowledge to help plan future care, not to test a treatment.
