Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called sargramostim, already approved for stimulating bone marrow, is safe and might help people with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease. Over six months, 42 participants will receive injections to see if the drug can slow or stop their cognitive decline. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also measuring changes in memory, daily function, and disease-related markers in the brain.
