First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at how a breathing technique called alveolar recruitment maneuver (a temporary increase in airway pressure to open collapsed lung areas) affects heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs during laparoscopic hysterectomy. Researchers monitored 70 adults (ASA class 1-2) undergoing general anesthesia. The goal was to better understand the maneuver's effects on the heart and circulation using advanced monitoring tools.
