First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a special gas system called Airseal® during laparoscopic hysterectomy leads to less pain after surgery compared to the standard system. Eighty women having the surgery for non-cancer reasons took part. The Airseal system uses lower gas pressure and may cause less discomfort. The main goal was to measure pain levels six hours after the operation.
