Summary
This study looked at whether a special breathing maneuver during weight-loss surgery helps patients recover better. 230 obese adults having bariatric surgery were randomly assigned to receive the maneuver or not. The goal was to see if it reduced shortness of breath and the need for extra oxygen after surgery.
